Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Seven

Monday 29th December 2014 ~ Today Daddy drove us down to Southend to visit Mummy's Aunt Maureen, her cousins Gemma and Louise and their children. We went to Louise's house where we stayed for lunch. I had a great time playing with all their toys.
Then we went to meet Aunt Julie, who fussed and spoilt me and bought me a babyccino and a big piece of cake with cream and jam, which I chose myself. Delicious!
And then there was a brilliant surprise when my cousins Levi and Ferdi turned up
We played together, tried on masks...
...and silly hats
They bought me even more presents and Aunt Melanie read me a Meg and Mog story. What a brilliant day.

Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Six

Sunday 28th December 2014 ~ Today Daddy drove Mummy, Ira and me to Grandma Catherine and Grandad John's house. We got there just in time for a delicious lunch. I actually ate some vegetables for the first time this Christmas, which made Mummy happy!
I caught up with mu cousin Lois...
We had a great time playing with Grandma and Gradad's circus train...
...and sharing some of my Christmas toys
Grandad took me out in the garden to see the birdies on the tree...
...and I caught up with Tom the cat too!
Cousins Isabelle and James came too...
...and so we all played together
And before it was time to go home, Grandad put frozen on and we were suddenly all frozen on the sofa...
...but then teddy and me took the best spot right in front of the tv
I had a brilliant day. I hope we can come back soon.

Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Five

Saturday 27th December 2014 ~ Today we had a quiet day. Mummy took me swimming while Daddy and Ira watched. We had the whole pool to ourselves!

Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Four

Friday 26th December 2014 ~ Today was Boxing Day. I don't know why it's called Boxing Day as it was very much like Christmas Day to me - with everyone coming to visit, lots of food and choccy and even more presents
I had fun with both my Grandads...
...and both my Grandmas too
We had another delicious lunch that Daddy made for us
I sat on my Mummy's lap and Ira sat on Daddy's lap
I had a really good time with everyone...
...dancing and playing with my new toys...
I love Christmas. Want to do it again!

Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Three

Thursday 25th December 2014 ~ This morning when I woke up, my stocking was full of toys from Father Christmas and I was so excited...
Ira and me took our stockings to Mummy and Daddy's bed...
and looked at all the toys...
I got frozen stickers and clips and a pink car and lots of choccy
Mummy, Daddy, Ira and me went downstairs and opened a present each. I got a machine that makes a rainbow in my room and some fairy wings from my baby brother
There was time for a quick play and some breakfast before we had to get dressed and ready for Christmas Day
I was dressed like a Christmas angel. Aren't I beautiful?
Grandma Kay and Grandma Mel arrived and it was time for more presents
Who can't wait for presents? Clara!
They bought me a pink wooden doll's house. which I really love
Ed and Amy got me a Percy engine. I was so happy with him that I decided that he needed a present of his own...
...and he was very happy with the talking George pig I got from Uncle Ellis and Phoy
I said "look mummy, he loves him!"
Mummy and Daddy got me a wooden abacus, which I used to count to twenty...
...and a brilliant photo book for me to take to nursery, full of photos of me and everyone I know
Before lunch, we opened the gingerbread house and I was allowed to eat some sweeties from the roof
Mummy had set the table with pine cones and ribbons and serviettes with a funny picture of Father Christmas on them
I had my very own place at the table with my plate and bowl. If you look closely, you'll see that there are tiny little sweetie snowflakes, which I collected from the table and ate throughout the day
Daddy worked hard all morning to make us a delicious Christmas lunch. Everyone was very impressed
Grandma and Granddad wore Christmas jumpers and we pulled crackers: 1-2-3-BANG!
Inside the crackers were some terrible jokes, some exciting toys and some amazing crowns. Grandma helped me put mine on - I looked more like Queen Elsa than ever!
Once all the dishes had been cleared, it was time for dessert. Grandma made me a little trifle all for myself and Mummy set fire to a sparkler.
After lunch, it was time for a play - I had a great time with my doll's house and all my other presents...
And although it didn't snow, I still found a good use for my lovely sleigh - what a great day, what a lovely Christmas.

Day Eight Hundred and Fifty-Two

Wednesday 24th December 2014 ~ Today it was Christmas Eve wgich Daddy said is the day before Christmas Day. Mummy, Ira and me played at home and then we went to meet my friends in the Queen's Arms in Walthamstow village for a drink. I had apple juice and Mummy had mulled wine.
My friends Henry, Eddie-Frank and Kit arrived with their Mummies and Daddies
We had a short, wintery walk to St. Mary's Church, arriving jus in time for their Christingle carol service
Mummy and me sat at the front with all the children where we listened to a story about the baby Jesus. e sang songs and shook shakers. It was fun!
After the singing, all the children were given a Christingle - an orange with a ribbon and sweeties and a candle in the top...
...if that wasn't exciting enough, a man came round with real fire and lit them for us
Wow said Henry!
I loved looking at the light and I was a very sensible girl holding it.
Uncle Ed came to meet us and we went home for mince pies, hot chocolate and stories by the fire. And we saw a little light moving across the sky that Daddy said was Father Christmas. We left a mince pie outside for Father Christmas and a carrot for Rudolph...
...and Ira and me hung up our stockings for Father Christmas. So exciting!
