Day Four Hundred and Thirty-Three

Thursday 31st October 2013 ~ Today was Halloween. Mummy carved a cat face into a pumpkin...
...and she got me my very own pumpkin lantern, which I enjoyed carrying around all day and showing my friends at nursery
Mummy made me a witch costume with a black sparkly dress and a cloak...
...I had stripy tights too!
I wasn't so sure about my witch's hat
I had a morning nap before nursery
At nursery, Mummy saw the brilliant pumpkins I made. Mummy left and I stayed for lunch and for another sleep...
Then Mummy picked me up and we went home for a long play and some Halloween chocolate treats before bed. What a great day.

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Nine

Sunday 27th October 2013 ~ This morning we got up early, packed our lunch and set out on an adventure...
We travelled on two trains to somewhere called 'Broxbourne'. Daddy said it was definitely a place, Mummy wasn't so sure and seemed very pleased when a mini-bus arrived to whisk us into the forest. When we got there I saw a sign with a big tiger staring down at me...
I couldn't quite make out what it said, but there seemed to be lots of animals wandering about and some swings that looked like they'd come from ancient history.
After lunch we set off into the forest looking for animals. Mummy and Daddy especially liked this big doggy.
And they taught me how to howl, just like him!
We walked on for a bit until we came across these little birds...
I thought they were very funny and could have watched them for hours.
Unfortunately, just then, it started to rain. Mummy picked me up and put in my sling so I was nice and cosy and then we dashed into the reptile house, which was all spooky. I had a nice time looking at all the creepy creatures and after the rain stopped we went and looked at bunnies and tigers and a really ugly camel. It was really good and I was all set to go home happy when it turned out there was  one final treat...
An indoor jungle gym! What a great day!

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Eight

Saturday 26th October 2013 ~ Mummy, Daddy and me went to meet Aunt Amy and Uncle Ed for lunch in West London
I helped myself to Daddy's chips. Mmmm.. delicious!
There was even time for some reading. I had a great time.

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Seven

Friday 25th October 2013 ~ Today began ever so normally. I had breakfast, got dressed, played with my toys, enjoyed a few bubbles...
When suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Grandma Catherine and Granddad John arrived. Not only that, I was allowed an iced bun!
We went for a lovely walk in the park and I tried to stay still for a family photo, but I really wanted to wriggle around and point at planes in the sky.
My favourite bit was when Granddad John threw me up into the air, wee look at me in the clouds!
I can't wait to be see Grandma and Granddad again, maybe I'll have another iced bun too!

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Six

Thursday 24th October 2013 ~ I had my first settling in session at nursery today. Look at me sitting at the table like a big girl!

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Four

Tuesday 22nd October 2013 ~ Today was the first Tuesday without Mummy. Grandma and Grandad said I was a delight!
I helped Grandad with the garden...
...and we played lots. At the Limes, where I saw my friend Herbie and at home too.
I was happy to see my Mummy when she got back from work but I had a great day

...this much fun!

Sunday 20 October 2013

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-Two

Sunday 20th October 2013 ~ Mummy and Daddy and me cycled to Walthamstow to go for Sunday lunch in the pub...
I got hungry waiting so ate myself an apple. I mostly like feeding myself these days...
...though when Mummy's sticky toffee pudding and custard arrived, I didn't mind eating off the spoon. Two ladies on the next table said I was like a hungry bird!
I got bored of sitting in my highchair and so Mummy took me for a walk around...
...and Daddy put me on his shoulders!
I also rocked out to the music in the back room. Look at me go!
Then it was time to cycle home for a bath and bed. I love being on the bike, but I really hate this stupid helmet

Day Four Hundred and Twenty-One

Saturday 19th October 2013 ~ Bright and early this morning, Mummy and me went out for breakfast
Then we went to the toy library with my friends. Here's me with Herbie, Henry and Marianne
It was great to see Herbie. I haven't seen him for ages
I had great fun playing in a little house!
Marinne and me had snacks together...
...we sat on little chairs!
Then Mummy and Daddy took me to Homebase. It was pretty boring but I did get to share the trolley with this big teddy!
