Day Two Hundred and Eighty

 Friday 31st May 2013 ~ Today Mummy and me went to meet Uncle Ed for lunch in South Kensington

We went to a Japanese restaurant and Uncle Ed fed me rice from chopsticks. I haven't tried chopsticks before! 

Uncle Ed had to go back to work so Mummy and I walked through Hyde Park before getting the tube home. We stopped so I could play on the grass...

I love grass!

Day Two Hundred and Seventy-Nine

Tuesday 30th May 2013 ~ Today Mummy, Grandad Mel, Grandma Kay and me went to see our new house. Afterwards we went for lunch and to the William Morris gallery. Here's me with William Morris  (he's the one on the right)

It was a beautiful house (which he used to live in). Here's me relaxing on a chaise longue...

 ...and here's me enjoying a puppet show Mummy and Grandad put on (mostly involving a brown horse)

It was great fun!

Wednesday 29th May 2013 ~ Today Mummy took me to the Discover Story centre in Stratford for Space Babies!

Day Two Hundred and Seventy-Seven

Tuesday 28th May 2013 ~ Today we went to see The Great Gatsby at the cinema in Stratford ~ It was loud and bold and brash, with many of the many scenes feeling like a grand finale. I'd been looking forward to the costumes but lots of them looked tacky, like cheap fancy dress. Mummy said she thought it lacked subtlety, emotion and the delicate beauty of the 1920s. She said bits of it reminded her of a cartoon, like Who Framed Roger Rabbit? But I haven't seen it. I thought Leonardo DiCaprio was good and Carey Mulligan looked pretty but Tobey Maguire ruined it by acting like a piece of wet cardboard. I didn't love it. 4/10

 Monday 27th May 2013 ~ I was very excited this morning because my Grandad John and Grandma Catherine were coming to visit and I hadn't seen them for a while...

We had lunch at home...

...and then went for a nice walk in the park. Look, we're all matching by accident!

Sunday 26th May 2013 ~ Today was a really lazy Sunday. I watched a lot of tv with Grandad...

...and after lunch and a nap, I played in the garden with Grandma and Grandad

 Saturday 25th May2013 ~ Today I did some swimming...

...and some Al Fresco dining! It was good to see Mr sun again.

Friday 24th May 2013 ~ Daddy looked after me today! First we went to Baby Yoga where I saw my friend Marianne and then we went out for a long walk - I fell fast asleep! When I woke I up, we were home. I had lots of lovely lunch and then we played games all afternoon. Here's me playing with my ballon. Such fun!

Day Two Hundred and Seventy-One

 Wednesday 22nd May 2013 ~ Today me, Eddie-Frank and Marianne went to a new class called Miss Miranda's music time. It was brilliant!

You might be wondering why I'm wearing a necklace? It's Grandma Kay's and biting it makes my gums feel better. Mummy gave it to me this morning and I put it on so she let me wear it.

I've been trying hard to crawl but I'm still not quite there. 

It was another difficult day as my second top tooth is coming through...

...but I did have fun at Eddie-Frank's house. Look! He likes my necklace too.

Day Two Hundred and Seventy

 Tuesday 21st May 2013 ~ Today involved a bit of relaxing and quite a lot of nature

We went for a long walk in Wanstead Park.

First we saw a swan a swimming with five cygnets

Then we saw Canada geese with eleven goslings

Then we saw two Greylag geese with three goslings all snuggled up together

Then two more Canada geese swimming with two goslings

Then I sat with Grandma Kay and watched all the birds and geese and swans and many dogs running around and around...

...and I watched as Grandad Mel fed one of my rice cakes to the geese before showing me all the plants and trees and flowers on the way home

Grandma Kay says she thinks I've probably got Nature Overload Disorder (NOD) but it's not a bad thing

 Monday 20th May 2013 ~ Today Eddie-Frank and I went for lunch at Marianne's house. We weren't very smiley at all...

 Sunday 19th May 2013 ~ After a lie in until almost 10, today started with some playing with my Daddy...

...and Uncle Ellis too!

Lunch time was sandwichaggedon!

Then Mummy, Daddy and me went for a walk in the woods

We saw my tree. Look how much it's grown!

A big black cat...

...Some geese with three goslings...

...and some swans with five cygnets.

What a day!
