Day One Hundred and Twenty-Nine

Monday 31st December 2012 ~ To celebrate the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013, I went with Mummy and Daddy to Aunt Veronica and Uncle Rob's house where I got even more Christmas cuddles. Here's me with Uncle Ellis by their lovely Christmas tree
Here's me with Aunt Veronica (who has a baby just like me in her belly)
and me with Uncle Rob
I went to sleep while Mummy and Daddy drank Champagne and played games. Jimmy the cat went to sleep too in the bottom of my pushchair. Look at him peeking out!
I woke up again after midnight and wanted to see what all the excitement was about. Uncle Ellis stole the first cuddle of 2013

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Eight

Sunday 30th December 2012 ~ Today Grandad John picked Mummy, Daddy and me up from the flat and took us back to Rochester. We had a great car ride through the East end of London and into Kent, though I slept for most of it
When we got there I got to see Grandma Catherine and Grandad John's Christmas tree, we had lunch and then I got more presents. Here's me with my favourite present ~ Freddie Firefly
...and here's me with Mummy. We both had a lovely time.

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Seven

Saturday 29th December 2012 ~ Today Daddy took me on a long walk along the river. It was very overcast and I didn't think much of the London Eye, but I had a lovely time taking in the sights.

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Six

Friday 28th December 2012 ~ Today was a lot quieter...

...but Mummy still couldn't manage to get a photo of me and my two cousins all smiling at the same time

This photo from yesterday is for Grandma Kay as she wanted to see it in colour xx

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Five

Thursday 27th December 2012 ~ Today I was sad to leave Grandma and Grandad's house but Grandma drove us home and I got to see my Aunt Melanie again and meet my Uncle Laszlo and my cousins Levente and Ferdinand
My cousins liked stroking my face and cuddling me and they said I was really cute

They tried playing games with me even though I'm a bit too little

I had lots more cuddles
...and Aunt Melanie's friend Kati bought me an amazing wooden music box
Then we all went out to Westfield for dinner and I looked at the pretty lights

Before coming home for a bath with my new ducks

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Four

Wednesday 26th December 2012 ~ Boxing Day started with cuddles with Daddy and then getting dressed up in my red dress ready for the day
This morning I got wrapped up all toasty and warm in the cardigan Grandma knitted me to go out for a walk along the seafront with Grandma and Grandad
Mummy and Daddy stayed at home being lazy
For lunch we had cold meat, mash and pickle (Mummy's favourite)

I played with my new toys
I had more Christmas cuddles
watched some trash on television
and then I was ready for bed

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Three

Tuesday 25th December 2012 ~ My First Christmas Day
This morning I had a lie-in in Mummy's old bed at Grandma and Grandad's house
When I woke up, I saw that Father Christmas had left some presents for me in my stocking
I didn't know what to expect of Christmas so I was a bit worried at first.
Mummy and I got dressed up nicely...
...and then after breakfast, they dressed me up in the Santa suit my Great Nan bought me and we went round to visit
Here's me with my Great Nan

After a while I started to enjoy myself
I wasn't sure quite what to make of Christmas but I realised that as well as visiting relatives...
Everyone sat together wearing coloured paper crowns
They all ate a lot of food
Grandad set fire to a Christmas Pudding
Grandma drank lots of wine
I was cuddled all day and got to nap with Grandad
and I got lots of presents like this blanky to chew
An amazing light-up snowglobe from my Aunt Julie
 and this door bouncer

I think I'm going to like Christmas

Day One Hundred and Twenty-Two

Monday 24th December 2012 ~ Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.
