Thursday 17th January 2019 - Today I went to school as usual and then Grandma and Grandad picked me up... even though it's not Tuesday. They said Mummy and Daddy had gone into the birth centre to have the baby
I was very excited to meet my new baby brother but Grandma and Grandad said we would probably have to wait until tomorrow
What I didn't know (because I was fast asleep) was that at 11.49pm, my baby brother was born
And tomorrow I would get to meet him for the very first time...
Monday 7th January 2019 - Back to school today - my attitude badge sewn onto my cardigan, my homework done and I was raring to go. I was ready ten minutes early with my coat on waiting for Daddy! It was really good to see my friends again after the holidays
Saturday 5th January 2019 - It's so good to wake up in our little lodge, to have cuddles with Grandad and to have breakfast with the birds and squirrels and Muntjac deer. We had a little deer who came to visit in the mornings and we fed him apple
After a leisurely breakfast, we head out into the forest again for another trip to the swimming pool
This is the main pool with the slow rapids. We went on them three times and I've got so good at swimming that I can do them myself now
And we spent a long time playing in the warm lagoon pool
I had fun playing with Ira
and carrying him around in the pool like he was a baby
It's our last swim today as we go home tomorrow so we had a slushy for a treat
Friday 4th January 2019 - This morning we went swimming with Grandma too and then we went bowling, which I love
I was great but Grandma just beat me - by three points!
Afterwards we had a play in the park. Mummy's baby is so big that she struggled to get out of the swing without Daddy's help!
Mummy, Grandma and I went to the bird hide on the way home. Most of the birds had already gone to bed but we did see some Muntjac deer playing together in the woods
Thursday 3rd January 2019 - We had a lazy morning with Grandad
Before heading into the forest for a bike ride. I was brilliant on my little bike and whizzed along, until I got too cold and wanted to head back to the centre to warm up a bit
We played in the park for a bit. I took Grandad and Daddy on a horse ride
And then we went swimming again. I had a great time playing in pirate cove and going on all the slides with Daddy
Daddy and I went in the cold plunge pool outside too. It was freezing but I was so brave!
We had tea back in the lodge and then Grandma arrived just in time for our bedtime story
Wednesday 2nd January 2019 - School doesn't start until next week so we went to Center Parcs for a little start of new year holiday. Grandad arrived shortly after we did. We hired bikes, found our holiday lodge
And went for a delicious lunch of pizza and ice cream
We went swimming and then looked at all the lovely christmas lights before heading back to our lodge for tea
Monday 31st December 2018 - Today was New Year's eve - the last day of 2018. As a treat, we went on one of our favourite days out - the cable car across the river to the 02
Where we took our customary family selfie in the machine! And then went to see Mary Poppins at the cinema
In the evening, we went to a little party at Juni and Robin's house where we ate lots of sweets and played Mario Cart
We stayed up until midnight
We had sparklers and watched the fireworks while we bounced on the trampoline
