Day Five Hundred and Ninety-Two

Tuesday 8th April 2014 ~ Today was our last day of holiday. Mummy and Daddy said it would be the best yet and they weren't wrong. It started with breakfast with Uncle Ellis
Uncle Ellis finished his porridge forst and then asked for some of mine...
...but I was very hungry so ate it all up myself
Then I helped Aunt Nini pack her suitcase...
...which involved quite a bit of lounging around on her bed!
Daddy went out on a bike ride so Mummy, Nini and me went shopping again
Later in the afternoon (after we were all packed and dressed up for dinner), Aunt Nini drove us to the sea caves at Los Hervidores
There was some amazing scenery...
...and some rocky caves formed by underground lava flows.
I really enjoyed picking up the rocks and throwing them on the floor. Ah bonk!
Then Nini drove us on to El Golfo, where I had a nap whilst everyone went exploring before dinner...
Mummy took some arty photos
Oh look, it's Ellis and Phoy (my new name for Phil) on the beach!
There was a green lake at the base of a crater
And some amazing coloured rocks
Here's Phoy, Ellis and Nini...
...and here's my Aunt Nini in front of the lake. Doesn't she look beautiful?
Here's my Mummy...
...and baby too!
And here's Ellis and Phoy walking back up the red rocks
After the adventuring, we all went to a restaurant overlooking the sea for dinner. I woke up just in time...
...for a giant bowl of spaghetti...
...which I ate with my hands and with great enthusiasm
It was really tasty!
And when I'd finished, the waiter brought me my very first lollypop. Why haven't I tried one of these before?
I ate it all up...
...while everyone else enjoyed a giant fish supper
...and then I started to get a little sleepy
The sun had started to set over the sea...
...and we watched the beautiful sunset before heading back to the villa in the dark
...and going straight to bed. What a day!
