Saturday 5th April 2014 ~ Today began with another new dress, my sun hat and lots of sun cream - Mr. Sun was already high in the sky by the time we left the house and it was very hot.
We set off for the seafront, Daddy carried me and tried to keep me cool, but the sun was so hot I almost fell asleep!
Fortunately, just as I seemed to be flagging, Mummy and Aunt Nelia, picked me up and swung me through the air - weeeeee!
After tromping along for what seemed like miles and miles in the hot sun, I decided enough was enough and insisted we stop for a drink. With nary a raised eyebrow, a waitress appeared and brought with her a long list of delicious refreshments.
The menu was a little more, involved, than usual, so Ellis kindly gave me a hand in choosing...
All I can say, is that Uncle Ellis is very, very good at choosing tasty things...
And chilling out! Oooh, UB40....
After everyone had their drinks, it was time to go. Ellis and Phil helped me with my shoes and soon we were off home.
After a sleep, Mummy, Nelia and Ellis went shopping and I jumped in the pool with Daddy. Swimming, swimming, in the swimming pool...
We spent the afternoon playing and then I went soundly to bed. While I was sleeping, Mummy and Daddy went out for a dinner and to watch the sunset. I'm not sure why I wasn't invited, after all I like sunsets too, but I think we can all agree Mummy looked beautiful, even though I wasn't there to help out.
