Day Seven Hundred and Sixteen

Sunday 10th August 2014 ~ Last night there was a massive thunderstorm. The rain was really loud on the roof of the tent. But I didn't feel scared because when I woke up, Mummy scooped me up and snuggled me in bed between her and Daddy.
This morning, I got dressed in my raincoat and wellies, grabbed my umbrella and headed out for a walk...
Marianne's Mummy and Daddy took us to see chickens and for a walk in the meadow. We got a bit wet and muddy but it was great fun.
Mummy wanted to see the chickens too so we showed her where they were. One of them pecked Marianne and she got scared. Naughty chickens. I walked around in their house and said "no pecking Clara' and luckily they didn't.
It rained for a lot of the day so we played inside and after lunch Marianne and me had a long nap - Marianne in the tent and me in the car whilst Daddy took Mummy for a drive to Thorpeness and Aldeburgh. Mummy thought it was very pretty there.
When we got back, the rain had stopped and the sun was shining so we all went for a walk in the meadow to look for cows.
Marianne and me had a great time in our trolley. Mummy picked flowers and berries for us to hold and we saw a bunny!
Our Mummies were scared of the cows but we couldn't wait to see them. We didn't get too close but Mummy picked me up so I could see them.
One of them mooed really loudly at us!
After our walk, there was just enough time for us to have a rest on these toadstools and then it was time for a quick dinner and bed
