Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-Six

Sunday 6th November 2016 ~ Today, Daddy took Ira and I to the Natural History Museum - all on his very own. Fortunately, we were very well behaved and the good people of London took pity on Daddy and helped him up and down the surprising number of stairs and on and off the enormous number of different trains. Of course, because it was a beautiful Autumn day, when we arrived there was long queue of people waiting to get in. We passed the time eating oatcakes, which are, disappointingly, not like that much like cakes at all and posing for pictures - here's me looking cool, leaning up against the wall.
First stop, dinosaurs! Unfortunately, by this point Ira was out of the buggy and rampaging around the entrance hall at full tilt, so Daddy was only able to take this shaky snap of me before breaking out the lasso, but still - dinosaurs!
We spent the next couple hours looking at blue whales, more dinosaurs, volcanoes and birds and even managed to enjoy an extortionate lunch perched in the corner of a heaving restaurant.
Eventually, Ira fell fast asleep and we took that as the signal to head for home, up stair and under ground. Before we got back on the tube I had a super-secret ride on a carousel, can you guess what I told Daddy when he asked what my favourite bit of the day had been? That's right, the dinosaurs!

Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-Five

Saturday 5th November 2016 - Today I got ready for ballet with new ballet clothes. Mummy bought me a white leotard, white tights, a white tutu skirt, tap and ballet shoes. And she did my hair in a little bun. Don't I look beautiful?
Mummy was sad when the teacher asked all the Mummies and Daddies to wait outside but she watched me through the door.
I got changed out of my ballet clothes and I went with my friends on the train to the Museum of Childhood
We had a great afternoon hanging out together

We went to the Mudlarks for a play again and I made a really excellent pirate
We played all afternoon...
...and when it was time to go, Issy and I shared an umbrella on the way back to the station. I asked Mummy if I can stay at Issy's house for a sleepover!

Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Thirty-Three

Thursday 3rd November 2016 - We went to Woodside School to see a firework display. Ira didn't like them because they were so noisy but I thought they were brilliant

Mummy and I want on the crocodile rollercoaster and we were lucky enough to get the seat right at the front.
Look at the amazing view from the top
Mummy and I snuck away while Ira played in the soft play area with Grandad. We shared some candy floss on the big wheel...
...and saw this gorgeous sunset over the sea
And then it was time to go back to Grandma and Grandad's for tea, a bath and bed
