Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven

 Thursday 18th April 2013 ~ Today Mr Golden Sun came back. Look how pleased I am!

 Mummy, Daddy and I went to explore the Palace of Knossos - People lived here 4000 years ago

I had Moussaka for lunch, which was delicious

..and the restaurant had a very exciting changing table

 When we got back to the hotel, we went out for dinner for our last night

Mummy and Daddy wore their honeymoon clothes

And I was supposed to be asleep, but I was far too excited

Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Six

Wednesday 17th April 2013 ~ This morning it was so miserable outside that Mummy and Daddy played scrabble while I played in my tent on the bed

I did a bit of reading...

...I did some relaxing...

...and some more eating (all of which Mummy says holidays are for)

We went for a short walk and no one was on the beach. It was all blustery and cold again...

...but I didn't care because I was tucked up all snuggly and warm in my blanket

Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Five

 Tuesday 16th April 2013 ~ This morning Mummy and I fed the stray cats who have been sleeping on the balcony. They especially enjoyed the Ella's Kitchen baby fish pie dinner, which I thought was disgusting

After breakfast we got the bus into Heraklion. It rained a lot just as we arrived and Mummy and Daddy got soaked. 

We walked up a street called '25th August' and when the rain had stopped, Daddy held me up so Mummy could take a photo. They said it was the day I was born but I wasn't impressed at all.

I was much happier when they put me back down so I could carry on making friends with the locals

We went for a delicious lunch in a seafood restaurant overlooking the port and I ate everything including octopus...

...Mummy and Daddy gave me a baby squid to hold...

...and I tried eating it but it was too chewy

We went for a walk out to the fort

It was so blustery and cold that Daddy had to hold onto his hat

I've never seen such big waves

All the clouds made for an amazing sunset. Here's the view from the hotel on the way to dinner

We went to the restaurant by the sea, which is run by a little man in a suit who loves me. 

he kept giving me kisses and making me laugh. He even gave me a hat to wear.

Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Four

Monday 15th April 2013 ~ This morning after breakfast, we went on another long walk along the coast. Here's me all snuggled up with Daddy

 

We walked back inland, past some really nice scenery...

...which I looked at, peeking out from under my sunhat.

When we got back to the hotel, we did some lounging by the pool until the sun went away and hid behind the clouds

Day Two Hundred and Thirty-Three

 Sunday 14th April 2013 ~ This morning I wore the first dress Mummy and Daddy bought for me before I was born. Don't I look pretty? Here I am playing in my tent again.

Today it's Mummy and Daddy's first Wedding Anniversary. To celebrate, we went to Hersonnisos and had lunch in a fish restaurant by the sea

I tried calamari and shrimps and chips too...

It was delicious!

Daddy even let me wear his hat

Mummy said Hersonnisos had been ruined by tourism but I thought it still looked pretty

We went back to the hotel for a relax. Here's the view from next to our room.

In the evening, we went out for a stroll as the sun set
