Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighty-Nine

Friday 27th October 2017 ~ Today, we got up early and jumped in the car and raced off to Centre Parcs. We got there so quickly we even managed to beat Grandma and Granda, so we made Grandad push us on the swings until he begged for mercy as our prize for this unexpected victory!
While Grandad had a rest and we recovered from 45 minutes of continuous roundabout action, Grandma produced some delicious home-baked blueberry muffins. They were just the ticket! Unfortunately, a friendly neighbourhood ninja squirrel thought so too and made off with one of Ira's cakes.
Inspired by such a force of nature, Daddy suggested we both had a lot to learn from the squirrel. So, while Ira practiced his ninja skills, I boned up on looking very pleased with myself - what do you think of my technique?
Eventually, we were convinced to leave the park and cease our pursuit of the rascally squirrel, I didn't mind too much, but Ira was pretty reluctant to hand over his weapons (stick) - that boy can be pretty stubborn!
