Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Fourteen

Saturday 12th August 2017 - I woke up this morning to the most amazing view across National trust land, all the way out to the sea. And the sun was shining too, after weeks of cloud and rain. What a great start to our holidays
Our friends Poppy, Riley, Eddie and Nancy arrived and we went to Charmouth beach for a paddle in the sea...
...and a walk across the sand and rocks to where the fossils are
We hunted for fossils on the beach and Mummy was hooked straight away. She could have stayed there all day but we wanted to go back to the holiday home
When we got back, Juni and Robin had arrived and we all played in the garden
...and had dinner overlooking that beautiful view
In the evening, our Mummies and Daddies had a cocktail party
Juni and I stayed up far too late
And danced outside as the sun went down
