Tuesday 27th December 2016 - Today we went back to Southend to Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel's house as Melanie, Laszlo, Lev and Ferdi had just arrived from Budapest. I opened presents from my cousins, including this troll umbrella, which I loved so much I had to use immediately, even though it wasn't raining
We had a buffet lunch and pulled crackers...
...and then went for a walk down to the beach in silly hats, which Mummy says has been a Christmas tradition since time began
I played on the bach with my cousins
And Mummy took photos of us jumping in the air
The sunset was just beautiful so Mummy decided we should walk down to the end of this long stone jetty. Ferdi and I went first...
...which Mummy thought was great as our silhouettes looked amazing against the sea
We were mostly interested in the big cage at the end
Mummy wanted to stay and take photos until it got dark but it was far too cold so we headed back to Grandma and Grandad's house
I played games with my cousins until it was time to go home
And once we were home, Esme decided she was going to snuggle down next to me in bed. I sang her O Little Town of Bethlehem until she fell asleep and I did too, not long after
