Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty-Five

Sunday 25th December 2016 - Today was Christmas day. When we woke up, our stockings were full and Father Christmas had left presents on the floor too. I was so excited that he had remembered what I wanted - a Barbie camper van and a Merida doll too. Our stockings were full of exciting treats, such as an Elsa and Olaf pez, glow sticks, chocolate teddies and lights for our scooters
There was a puppy for each of us too. A white one for me and a black one for Ira. They walk and bark when you press the buttons
We went downstairs and made some Christmas videos, including this one for Ellis and Phoy
And played with my Barbie camper van and Ira's Duplo house
It wasn't long before Grandma and Grandad arrived and it was time to open presents in the front room with a glass of something bubbly - Ira and I had elderflower and fizzy water!
I got lots of lovely presents, including this mermaid blanket from Mummy and Daddy
Grandad bought me a Barbie teacher and a little girl and Ira a Peppa pig school set. So We had lots of fun playing schools together until it was time for lunch
Mummy had made little christmas trees our of the napkins and mini wreaths with our names on them
Lunch was delicious feast of prawn cocktail followed by Christmas dinner with turkey, ham and beef and lots of vegetables. For dessert we tried some of Grandma's trifle.. but not the bit with the sherry in it
We spent the afternoon playing with our new presents and watching television until it was past our bedtime
What a brilliant Christmas day. Grandad thought so too.

Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty-Four

Saturday 24th December 2016 - Today was Christmas Eve and when we woke up, Mummy said we should go to the coast. Daddy agreed it was a good idea so he drove us to Whitstable where we had fish and chips. It was so cold that I said "we should have come in the summer".. Mummy agreed that I was probably right
We fed chips to the seagulls...
...and Mummy made a nativity scene out of rocks
We went for a walk and it was so cold that we insisted on wearing Mummy's and Daddy's scarves
It was much warmer when Mummy gave us both a cuddle. And then Mummy and Daddy carried us all the way back to the car
We weren't home long before it was time to head up to All Saint's church for their nativity. We watched the nativity and sang carols. I sat next to Eddie
And we had our photo taken in front of the big christmas tree
Then it was home in time for new matching space pajamas, a fire and hot chocolate while we watched  We're going on a Bear Hunt...
...and stickman too
We left mince pies and carrots outside the front door for Father Christmas and the reindeer and hung our stockings up on our beds. I asked Daddy if he thought Father Christmas would like our bedroom. I decided he'd probably like it very much. It wasn't long before we were both fast asleep...
..and we didn't wake up, even when Father Christmas filled our stockings and left us lots of presents

Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty-Three

Friday 23rd December 2016 - Today we went to Nancy's 3rd birthday party at her house. It was brilliant to see Eddie again

Day One Thousand Five Hundred and Eighty-One

Wednesday 21st December 2016 - Today was my last day at preschool before Christmas so we had a little party and Father Christmas came to give us some presents. Don't think he was the real Father Christmas though, do you?
Mummy and Daddy picked me up and we drove to Audley end
Where we went on a magical train ride through the woods
All the way to Santa's grotto
Now that's more like it. Isn't he lovely? He wished us a Happy Christmas and his elves gave us all a present
Ira and I got a little penguin, which was the cutest thing ever
We went back on the train through the woods and played in the playground, made glittery teddies for the Christmas tree and danced in the christmas mini disco
