Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Eight

Thursday 29th January 2015 ~ Today is was Grandma's birthday. I helped her open her presents and then gave her the card Mummy and me made and the chocolate I chose for her. Grandma let me have some chocolate after breakfast
Grandad and me put some more food out for our animals, who have come back to see us every morning
We went for a really long swim in the swimming pool. I really loved going on all the slides and in the wave pool. Grandma, Mummy and Daddy took it in turns to go on the Cyclone but I was too little
After swimming, Daddy took me for a play in the playground and it started snowing
It was very exciting as I don't remember ever seeing snow before (though Mummy and Daddy said it snowed when I was a little baby). I mainly wanted to eat it
Grandma and Grandad walked back to our lodge...
...there weren't any animals in the snow
Mummy carried me and said she thought it was all very magical and a lovely birthday treat for Grandma
We went to warm up with a hot chocolate...
...and I had fun dancing around on the stage
The lady in the cafe gave me a red balloon and I let go of it by accident. It went very high up to the ceiling and we couldn't reach it so I cried and Daddy went to get me another one.
We walked through the snowy woods...
...to a pub with a brilliant play area inside
We met Grandma and Grandad and all had dinner together.
Daddy had bought Grandma a birthday cake
We all sang Happy Birthday to Grandma and I helped her blow the candles out. Grandma gave me some icing flowers to eat. Poor Ira is still too little to blow candles out or eat cake, which is why he looks grumpy.
I think Grandma had a really happy birthday

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Seven

Wednesday 28th January 2015 ~ Today started well with more pyjama cuddles with Grandad and my brother...
...but then, just as we were about to head out to the swimming pool. it started raining
My buggy has a puncture so Grandma carried me under an umbrella, all the way to the swimming pool.
After we went for a swim, the sun came out and Mummy took this photo of the forest
Grandma and Grandad took me for a play in the woodland playground. I was a shop keeper and this was my shop
Yes please, can I help you?
No sorry Grandad, I don't have any chocolate, I only have shark and chips or scrambled egg
I also had a ride on this wooden tractor
and posed for this beautiful photograph, which Grandad took
Grandad cropped it and Daddy said he thinks it looks like a poster from the 1940s
Grandad says I'm a gorgeous girl
What a great day. Goodnight Centre Parcs.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Six

Tuesday 27th January 2015 ~ Today we were having breakfast when who should appear at the door to our lodge? Some ducks...
...a little robin...
...and a Muntjac deer!
Here's me feeding some bread to the ducks
Grandad and me put out some food and before long, there were animals everywhere - birds and squirrels and ducks and deer. It was so exciting.
I decided to chase the ducks and deer into the wood
Where have they gone Grandad?
There they are
Peekaboo Muntjac.
Grandad taught me to say Muntjac so beautifully...
...and Mummy took this great video of her walking through the wood
I had such a great morning
After a swim in the amazing swimming pool, we went out to the pub for lunch. I had pancakes and ice-cream
Monkey came too!
And then it was back to the lodge for more fun...
...and bedtime cuddles with Grandad

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Five

Monday 26th January 2015 ~ Today was the start of our holiday at Centre Parcs in Elvedon Forest with Grandma and Grandad. Grandma picked us up from home and drove us there. We were staying in a lodge in the forest and I had my very own bedroom...
...look Grandad, there's a tv in every room!
We went swimming and then had a great time snuggling down and watching tv in bed. What a treat!

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Three

Saturday 24th January 2015 ~ Today Mummy and Daddy took us on the train and then the tube across London to the Science Museum. By the time we got there, I was a sleeping beauty, all snuggly in my buggy
When I woke up, we went to play in the basement. Mummy and Daddy were stunned that I remembered (and asked for) the wheelbarrow to wheel my bricks around
We went to the launchpad and I had a great time playing in the grain pit...
...learning about magnets...
...bridges...
...aeroplanes...
...and chocolate milkshake.
What a great day. I didn't want to leave and asked Mummy and Daddy if I can come back soon with Grandma and Grandad. I hope so.

Day Eight Hundred and Eighty-Two

Friday 23rd January 2015 ~ Today I was allowed to take this sock monkey home from nursery, which made me very happy. He's going to come on holiday with us next week!
