Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty-Seven
Friday 25th August 2017 - Today was my fifth birthday
I woke up to glowing balloons and breakfast in bed. I had pancakes with sprinkles and melon and juice
I went downstairs to find a big pile of presents and cards on the table
Mummy And Daddy bought me a rainbow unicorn dress and a rainbow satchel for school...
...which I wanted to try out straight away
And a crocheted Elsa doll, like the Napoleon one Mummy got made for Grandad Mel!
Ira bought me a big lollypop and Daddy got me a pink polaroid camera, which he said I could take with me today
We went back to Southend, where we met Grandad Mel and Grandma Kay in the Kursaal...
...and went ten pin bowling, which was my choice of what to do today.
Daddy won the bowling and I came second.. at least that's what Mummy told me!
We went for a play in the arcades to win some sweeties and then went for fish and chips on the sea wall. Luckily Grandad Mel had brought lots of hats with him as it was very sunny
Ira and I ate our arcade sweets and had a dance on the sea wall in the sunshine
We went back to Grandma and Grandad's house, where I opened even more presents - my very own pair of binoculars from Grandma Kay and a pink watch from Grandad Mel. We went to play on the allotment. We hunted for giant pumpkins and chased cabbage white butterflies...
...and blew dandelion clocks
How does it feel being five?
We helped Grandad pick the tomatoes and sweetcorn and then went back inside to eat some. It was delicious
And after tea, I had a rainbow birthday cake with sprinkles. Everyone sang Happy Birthday and then after stories with Grandma and Grandad and kisses for everyone, I went to bed after a very happy birthday

Thursday 17th August 2017 - Today was Isabella's 5th Birthday and she wanted to go to the beach so we went to Lyme Regis
Mummy bought some chocolate fossils and hid them in the rocks by the sea
We spent a while hunting for them while Mummy escaped up the beach to hunt for real fossils
We had to wait for her to come back before going to get some fish and chips for lunch
When we got back, we had another pool party and a birthday tea for Isabella

Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Eighteen
Wednesday 16th August 2017 - Our friends hadn't been to Weymouth and they wanted to play on a sandy beach so we went back there for the afternoon. We lost them after a while because the carnival was on and there were lots of people. We found a spot on the beach and Mummy and Daddy let us have some candy floss
It was sunny and warm so we changed into our swimming costumes...
...and I danced on the beach with Mummy while Daddy played near the sea with Ira
We went back for a play in the arcades
And we each chose a ride to go on. Mine went high into the sky
We watched the red arrows fly across the sky and make a heart shape in the clouds before it was time to go
Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventeen
Tuesday 15th August 2017 - Today was Juni's 5th Birthday and she wanted a pool party. Luckily the sun came out and so we spent the day relaxing and playing in the sunshine
Juni, Liv, Isabella and I played on the inflatables and practised our jumping in the pool
Juni's mum Suzanne had lots of water bombs so we had a water fight on the lawn
And when they ran out, we sprayed each other with the hose
I got all warm and snuggly in my towel...
...and after we were all dressed, we went inside for a party tea and to sing Happy Birthday to Juni
Before bed, I asked Mummy if we could write to the tooth fairy and ask what she was doing with my tooth so that's what we did and put it under my pillow before I went to sleep. I wonder if she'll write back in the night?
Day One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixteen
Monday 14th August 2017 - This morning I woke up and the tooth fairy had left a note and a shiny pound coin under my pillow. I was very excited and showed everyone
Sadly Eddie, Nancy, Poppy and Riley had to go home this morning. So we all posed for this lovely photograph together...
...and we cheered ourselves up with a trip to Weymouth with Juni and Robin, where we went on the rides in the funfair and played in the arcades
We had delicious fish and chips for lunch
And played on the beach until it started to rain and it was time to go
When we got back to the holiday home, new friends had arrived - Livia, baby Ella, Isabella and James. We played it in the garden until it was time for tea
