Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-Six

Friday 26th May 2017 - Here's a photo I took of Mummy at breakfast. She was smiling even though it was cloudy and grey outside
We put on our rain coats and head out for an adventure. We went to Nea Moudania and visited the church but unfortunately we couldn't go inside
Instead we walked around the town and along the promenade by the sea. There wasn't any blue sky to be seen
So Daddy drove us to Petralona, where we visited this amazing cave. A human skull had been found in there, which the lady said was around 800,000 years old. Mummy told me about stalagmites and stalactites and that people used to live in the cave a long, long time ago. I was glad we didn't have to live there
After dinner, we went back up to the top of the hill, where Mummy and I played musical statues...
...while Daddy took photos of the stormy sunset...
...and our beautiful hotel

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-Five

Thursday 25th May 2017 - Today we spent the day on the beach...
...and it was just beautiful

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-Four

Wednesday 24th May 2017 - Today we went back to Afytos for a wander around the town. There was a really beautiful view of the sea
We found somewhere for lunch and Ira and I played in the square until our food arrived
We had lunch, bought some greek honey and then went back to the hotel
After dinner, Mummy and Daddy said we could go to the White Nights party on the beach
There were lights and candles everywhere and it looked really beautiful
My friends Ella and Isabelle were there too
We played hide and seek and ran about on the sand until we were falling asleep. Then Mummy carried me home to bed

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-Three

Tuesday 23rd May 2017 - Today we went on a boat trip, all the way along the coast to Nea Poteidaia, where we went down the canal which separates the mainland from the Kassandra peninsula and saw the little restaurant where we went on all the little rides
It was a beautiful day and we spent most of the time on the top deck
The lady who was working on the boat threw bread to the seagulls and so lots of them started following us back to the hotel
We went back for lunch and an explore around the marina
And then back to our lovely hotel for a late afternoon swim and dinner

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-Two

Monday 22nd May 2017 - We had a lazy morning in the hotel. Most mornings involve watching the Disney channel with Ira, a late breakfast and then a lounge around the pool. The baby pool is our favourite. It's so warm that it's like a bath. And we bring our toys to play with on the side
Later in the day, the clouds came so Daddy drove us down the coast to a little place called Possidi. There was a small deserted beach...
 ...and a little lighthouse...
...which was surrounded by these beautiful mauve flowers
Ira fell asleep in the car so Mummy and I walked down the beach collecting little pink pebbles
And visited what was left of Poseidon's temple

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty-One

Sunday 21st May 2017 - Today we went to a sleepy little seaside town called Nea Poteidaia. It was hot and sunny and we didn't feel much like walking about
Luckily we found this amazing restaurant by the beach, which was full of little rides for us to go on. Daddy gives us some coins so we could take it in turns to choose our favourite
My favourite was this butterfly ride
This one was pretty good too. Mummy said she remembered going on one of these in Southend when she was a little girl
We even had time for a relax and a swim in the pool before dinner when we go back to the hotel

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Thirty

Saturday 20th May 2017 - Normally Mummy and Daddy tell us we need to eat something savoury for breakfast before we have any cake. But today, they let us eat pink donuts.. they must be tired!
We went back to the beach where we walked along by the sea...
...and up through the sand dunes collecting stones and shells and other sparkly bits of treasure
We spent a lot of the day on the beach and had a lot of fun
We were both pretty tired by the time of the mini disco before dinner. We might even have gone to sleep before 10pm

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Nine

Friday 19th May 2017 - Breakfast in our favourite spot by the window, overlooking the swimming pool
The sun had come out at last so after breakfast, we went to the beach
Mummy and Daddy built us a big sand castle and then we collected white stones and shells to decorate it
We then went to the baby pool, where we ate our lunch!
After dinner, we went to look at there sunset on the beach
And went up to the hill with the little castle in our hotel, where I took this photo of my Mummy and Daddy...
...before running back down the hill to bed

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Eight

Thursday 18th May 2017 - Today we played in the hotel park with our new twin friends Ella and Isabelle
Then Mummy and Daddy hired me a pink bike without stabilisers. It had a basket for mine and Ira's teddies
I cycled to the marina where we sat and watched the fish
Later on the sun came out at last, so Ira and I did a little dance to celebrate

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Seven

Wednesday 17th May 2017 - It was another cloudy day so instead of sitting by the pool waiting for the sun to come out, we went to Ancient Olynthos in Polygyros, where we found a cherry tree with ripe cherries to eat
We walked up the hill and saw a wild tortoise and lots of birds. And then went to explore the ruins
Daddy said that people lived here over 2000 years ago
We picked and ate so many cherries that Mummy said we could count the stones with Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Sailor.. something she used to do with her Grandma. Not sure where fisherman came from!

Day One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty-Six

Tuesday 16th May 2017 - Today started with a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We could choose whatever we wanted. I had porridge with Greek honey
It was cloudy today so we drove to Kallithea for a walk along the beach...
...and up to the site of the Temple of Ammon Zeus
Where we explored the ruins and collected pine cones
