Day Five Hundred and Forty-Four

Wednesday 19th February 2014 ~ Today Mummy took me to the Southbank. I did so much walking and had such a lot of fun running up and down the slope in the Tate Modern.

Mummy and me were the first ones there!

Up, down, up down! 

We went to meet my new friend baby Isobel...

...she was very sweet but she spent a lot of time sleeping!

I also had a brilliant time splashing in the puddles on the Southbank. One puddle was so big that Mummy had to rescue me. It really made me laugh!

Day Five Hundred and Forty-Three

 Tuesday 18th February 2014 ~ Today when I woke up, Grandma and Grandad were there in their room. It was a lovely surprise. They'd bought me a tigger dressing gown, which I love. I had my breakfast in it!

We went out and had lots of fun but I mostly enjoyed watching the Winter Olympics with Grandad

Monday 17th February 2014 ~ After a busy day at nursery, there was time for a quick play, a bath and some stories with Mummy and Daddy before Teddy and me fell fast asleep

Day Five Hundred and Forty-One

Sunday 16th February 2014 ~ Today Grandma and Grandad came to visit. I had fun showing Grandma my new piggy bank. I got some new coins for it too!

Grandma read me books and sang me nursery rhymes. I showed her all the actions I could do.

Grandma and Grandad bought me two great wooden jigsaws, which I had fun taking apart and throwing on the floor. It won't be long until I can make them but for now, I need a bit of help.

Daddy made us a delicious roast dinner, followed by apple strudel. 

After lunch, Grandma and me sat chatting on the clubchairs.

Grandad played with my feet...

...he really made me laugh.

I hope Grandma and Grandad come and visit us again soon.

Day Five Hundred and Forty

Saturday 15th February 2014 ~ Today we went to Lloyd Park for a run around and a look in the William Morris Gallery...

I had a great time splashing in the puddles...

Splash, splash, splash!

I played in the sandpit (where Mummy wrote my name in the sand)

Mummy and me went on the seesaw...

...and I loved it.

I loved the swing too. Especially when Daddy came on too

When I'd had enough of the park, we went to feed some of my sandwich to the ducks and pigeons. More, more!

And I loved running up and down on the bridge

It was all blustery and cold

When we got home, we made ginger biscuits

I helped making them with the biscuit cutters. We had hedgehogs, squirrels, snails and stars...

But I mostly enjoyed eating them afterwards

What a great Saturday!

Day Five Hundred and Thirty-Nine

Friday 14th February 2014 ~ Today it's Valentine's Day. Here's the card Mummy and me made for Daddy at messy play. He loved it!

And here's the card I made for Mummy and Daddy at nursery. Isn't it lovely?

It made a pretty good hat too!

After nursery, Esme and me had storytime with Mummy. Esme liked the one about the fox best.

Day Five Hundred and Thirty-Eight

Thursday 13th February 2014 ~ To make a change from the Limes, today Daddy took me to the Discovery centre in Stratford. There were lots of fun and exciting things to play with...

...and a garden where I had a run around

There were buttons to press

And alphabet stepping stones that made a noise

Oh look, I'm on stage!

After so much fun, it was time to have a sit down in the purple and green forest

Then Daddy and me went for lunch in Westfield. I had a wander around the shops. Look how grown-up I am. 

I had such a fun day, I even had fun playing with my own shadow!

Day Five Hundred and Thirty-Seven

Wednesday 12th February 2014 ~ Today I was a gorgeous teddy bear. When Mummy showed me in the mirror, I thought it was great and gave myself a big grin!

We went to messy play in Leytonstone...

...and then to my friend Marianne's for lunch. Oh look, cake!

Marianne's Mummy gave us all a slice of our very own...

...and of course we all sat at the table and ate it nicely. It was delicious...

...Marianne thought so too!

After cake we played all afternoon. 

We danced in Ronan's room, jumped on Marianne's Mummy and Daddy's bed and played with Kwazi cat. 

We laughed a lot. It was a great afternoon.

Day Five Hundred and Thirty-Six

 Tuesday 11th February 2014 ~ Today I was silly at home with Grandma and Grandad!

 Then we went to IKEA for some fun...

...I had a great time playing with all the toys

Day Five Hundred and Thirty-Five

Monday 10th February 2014 ~ Today Grandma, Grandad, Mummy and me went to the MRC Unit in Cambridge where Mummy does her PhD. I met lots of Mummy's friends (who gave me biscuits to eat!) and I took part in a study.

Then we walked into Cambridge for a look around the shops. It was raining so I made sure to carry an umbrella

I was very grown up...

I even helped Mummy with the shopping!
