Day Four Hundred and Eighty-Six

Monday 23rd December 2013 ~ In the morning, there was time for a play and a look at the birds in Grandad's lovely garden. And then it was time to go home. I was sad to leave...

...but being back at home with Mummy and Daddy wasn't all bad!

Day Four Hundred and Eighty-Five

Sunday 22nd December 2013 ~ Today we had a pre-Christmas Christmas at Grandma and Grandad's house. When I woke up, my new shoes were under the tree!

I got the hang of walking around in them very quickly

I helped Grandad prepare the brussel sprouts for lunch

We had roast beef for lunch

Grandad, Uncle Ed, Daddy, Grandma, Mummy and me

It was delicious, though I didn't eat much

We pulled crackers...

...and wore paper hats!

After lunch, we opened presents. I got some great presents, including this bunny night light, some books from my great nan and a fancy new toothbrush and some raisins from Grandad

Mummy was there too (she just took a lot of the photos!)

After lunch, I had fun with Uncle Ed...

...and with Grandad too. Look how clever I look!

Later on, Aunt Julie came round and I gave her her present - a plant and a frog watering can. We had a cuddle and looked at some pictures of dogs!

And then it was time for bed. After such a fun day, I slept all night through. I love Christmas!

Day Four Hundred and Eight-Four

Saturday 21st December 2013 ~ Today we travelled back to Grandma Kay and Grandad Mel's house for our pre-Christmas Christmas. Look how lovely and Christmassy it looks!

After lunch, I had a really long sleep in the car with my Grandad

When I woke up, I went to get fitted for my first pair of proper shoes. I got some patent black leather ones like Mummy's. Grandma and Grandad bought them for me for Christmas.

Mummy, Daddy and me went to visit my Great Nan. I was a very good girl.

Nanny gave me a Jammy Dodger to eat. We had cuddles and played together.

I had fun!

Day Four Hundred and Eighty-Three

Friday 20th December 2013 ~ On Fridays I usually go to nursery but as a nice surprise, I spent the day with Mummy instead. We went for lunch in a great cafe where I got to play with toys and books and sit in this little blue chair!

Then we went to my nursery Christmas party where I had lots to eat and then met Father Christmas. He wasn't as fat a in the pictures and looked like he'd been on holiday...

I didn't want to sit on his knee...

...but I got a present anyway! It was an Elmer the elephant book

I got to take home the brilliant reindeer christmas card I'd made for Mummy and Daddy. They really loved it.

Day Four Hundred and Eighty-Two

Wednesday 19th December 2013 ~ Today I had a great time playing with my Strawberry Hat - now you see me... 

Now you don't! 

After I finished playing with my hat we went to the new park that's opened just around the corner. It had lots of fun things to play with, I especially liked the tree house. It had a great slide and I can't wait to come back here with my friends!

Day Four Hundred and Eighty-One

Wednesday 18th December 2013 ~ Today we travelled into work with Daddy and then Mummy and me walked along the Southbank to Waterloo so that we could get the train to my friend Jess' house. I haven't seen her for ages...

Jess' Mummy put on a great buffet for the Mummies and the babies too

Jess and me were sharing nicely. Look at us in our Christmas outfits!

Jess' Mummy had a great Christmas outfit too. Check out that jumper! We had such a good day. I hope we can go back again soon.

Saturday 14th December 2013 ~ Today was our Christmas party...

...Mummy and Daddy decorated the house...

The front room was all full of toys!

...and Grandma Kay brought a delicious trifle

Mummy made and hung up stockings for all the babies...

...and made my room into a cosy den full of cushions...

...and fairylights!

Just getting ready for the party was tiring so I had a big long nap in my party dress before everyone arrived

When I woke up, Mummy put a holly clip in my hair...

and I went downstairs to see that there was a table of food just for babies...

...and Grandad helped me eat most of the strawberries!

Lots of people started arriving... My Grandma Catherine and cousin Lois...

There were so many people that I think there might have been almost everyone I've ever met!

We did Secret Santa and I got an amazing kite. I can't wait to fly it!
