Sunday 10th December 2017 - This morning we woke up and it was really snowing outside. In fact, I woke up in the middle of the night to tell Mummy and she came downstairs to watch it with me for a while

As soon as we were dressed and wrapped up warm, we went out to play in the garden
I tried to eat the snow by catching it on my tongue
And Mummy took this photo of me looking all cute and christmassy next to my crab apple tree
Lots of people came for pre christmas christmas lunch
Lois, Arlo, Ira and I had our own little table. And crackers too!
Friday 8th December 2017 - After school today, I wrote christmas cards for my school friends. I am doing so well with my writing. I wrote my friends names and 'Love Clara' in all of them
Thursday 7th December 2017 - After school today we went to Robin's grandma and granddad's house for his princess and super hero party. I'd heard Snow White was coming so I decided to take my snow white costume
Robin was snow white too!
We played musical statues until the princesses arrived
And then sat listening to songs and stories with Snow white and Elsa
Wednesday 6th December 2017 - After school today, Daddy took us to get the Christmas tree
And Ira and I started decorating it before bed
Mummy finished the tree after we had gone to bed. Then she drank too much port and attached a branch to the ceiling. She says she hopes it doesn't fall down on Christmas day and land in Grandad's christmas lunch, which really made me giggle
Monday 4th December 2017 - This morning we walked back across the chain bridge
And through the christmas market where I posed for a photo in front of the Christmas tree and St Stephen's Basilica
We went to a really old cafe for lunch...
followed by the most amazing cakes
And then we walked a long way through the city until we got to the zoo cafe. We had a drink and held lots of different animals, including this baby tortoise
and a guinea pig! Mummy liked the chameleon best
And then it was time to race back to the apartment to get a taxi to the airport and our plane back home again
Sunday 3rd December 2017 - Today was an amazing day. We met my cousins for breakfast. We had chocolate croissants and french toast with maple syrup
Mummy enjoyed it too. And said she thinks I look like her here
We went to a little market a short walk away and it was snowing a little bit, but not settling on the ground
Then Laszlo drove us up to the Buda hills and there was snow everywhere
We got on a little train and when I looked out of the window, the woods were covered in snow
The train started and we were off.. on our adventure to meet Father Christmas
Before long, Father Christmas arrived and Ira and I sang him Jingle bells. He gave us the biggest bag of sweets and chocolates I had ever seen, so we were both very happy
Then we went back to the station for a play in the snow
I had never seen so much snow. It was wonderful
And when we walked back down the hill, there was a miniature train for us to ride on
It was getting vey cold and luckily Mel and Lan had booked for us to go to a cosy restaurant for dinner
When we got back to our apartment, we thought it was time for bed, but instead, Mummy and Daddy insisted on taking us on a short adventure to see the lights of the city
It was all very christmassy
And there were bits that looked like a fairytale castle
I loved looking out over the city
But then we had to race back home and back up the hill on the funicular.
Saturday 2nd December 2017 - Today we got up really early, when it was still dark outside, drove to Stansted airport and then got on a plane to Budapest. I watched the sun rise over the clouds
When we arrived, we were later than planned so we set out straight away to see the sights of the city and to meet Laszlo, Levi and Ferdi. We walked across this chain bridge and through to the Christmas market
It was so good to see our cousins again
We went back to see their house for the first time and to have tea
Friday 1st December 2017 - It was the first day of December, the beginning of our countdown to Christmas and a day we had both been waiting for.. because we got to open our advent calendar. This year, a playmobil one! Ira got a cow for his christmas farm and I got a little girl for my snowy princess scene
We also both got a chocolate and a little card which is going to tell us something fun we'll do each day. Today it was to open our advent calendars and after school, to pack for our holiday to Budapest tomorrow
Saturday 25th November 2017 - Today we went to the cinema in the morning with Mummy, Juni and Robin to see the new Frozen short film. I ran most of the way there in the sunshine
