Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Eight

Wednesday 5th March 2014 ~ Today Mummy and me went to meet my friend Arlo and his Mummy Tammy at the Museum of Childhood.
After a delicious lunch of savoury rice, fishfingers, mash and peas, I spent a lot of time running around being a rascal...
...I put dollies in the flowers...
...and I pushed and pulled the walker up and down, up and down...
I was less interested in spending time with Arlo (he is a baby after all)...
...but I put up with Mummy giving him a cuddle for a short while.
Before racing off again into the War Games exhibition!
He is pretty cute after all.

Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Seven

Tuesday 4th March 2014 ~ Today it's pancake day so Grandma brought me a pancake, which Upsy Daisy and me had with banana, cream and honey...
...it was really yummy and I said "honey" for the first time!
After the Limes, Grandma and Grandad took me to Lloyd Park...
...where I had a go on the swings...
...and we had lunch too. Mmm.. chips and ketchup!
I spent some time looking for ducks to feed and guess who came along?...
...that's right, a squirrel!
He was really friendly...
We spent a bit of time getting to know each other...
...and then I gave him some lunch
On the way home, there was time to pop into Highams Park library for a read of some books (don't I look intellectual?)...
...and to make a new friend too (a human friend this time)

Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Six

Monday 3rd March 2014 ~ As soon as we got up I was so happy to hear that it was time for another swim. And we were so early that we had the whole pool to ourselves...
....I really enjoyed splashing about with Daddy, practising my kick, kick, kicking...
...and having a relax on the side, with a view of the forest. Can you see the horse in the background? He was wearing a coat!
After swimming it was time for breakfast...
...Scrambled egg? My favourite
After breakfast, there was time for a short relax in the room before we had to check-out
Then we went for a walk in the forest. It was very wet and muddy and ice fell down from the sky...
...but isn't it beautiful here?
There was still time for another play before heading home. Here's me in the Den saying hi to Bobby the bunny.
And then it was time for a sleep and a relax on the journey home

Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Five

Sunday 2nd March 2014 ~ Today Mummy and Daddy took me on a train from Waterloo. I had a great time running up and down...
...it was lots of fun!
We went all the way to a place called Brockenhurst, which Daddy says is in the New Forest. We stayed in a big old manor house, which Mummy says used to be a hunting lodge used by King Charles II. I don't know who that is but he sounds important.
We couldn't check in straight away and it was raining so we went to play in the Den. I enjoyed the dolly's tea set...
...and I found dog teddy and Iggle Piggle. We played in the ball pool together...
...and there was a singing teddy who I danced with for a while
I even had time to do some colouring in
Then it was time to check in. Look at the amazing room we stayed in. For for a King, said Mummy.
Just when I thought the fun was over for the day, Mummy said it was time to go swimming. This made me very happy.
Almost as soon as we got out, it was time for my high tea in the restaurant, which was lucky as I'd really built up an appetite. Here's me waiting patiently. Can you hear all the other babies?
Mmmm.. sausage and mash. How delicious! What a great day. I can't wait to see what's in store for tomorrow. Night night

Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Four

Saturday 1st March 2014 ~ Today after breakfast, Mummy, Daddy and me headed straight out to Spitalfields. We were there to meet Ed and Amy and were early for once so I took the opportunity to practice my dancing...
Then I was a diva and had myself a babyccino (on the house). More, more!
There was still time for a walk around the market and a splish splash in the puddles...
I was hungry and tired when Ed and Amy turned up so I was a bit of a whingebag at first...
...but we headed straight to a Chinese restaurant for lunch and I cheered up as soon as Amy started feeding me crisps on a chopstick!
After lunch I had a sleep...
...and when I woke up, there were chickens everywhere. It's ok said Mummy, we're at Hackney city farm...
...that's ok then. Hello Mr Cockerel!
We all had a wander around the farm. As well as chickens, we saw pigs, donkeys, ducks and...
...baa baa. My favourite.
Mummy bought me a ladybird umbrella from the farm shop, which made me very happy. I didn't quite get the hang of it at first...
...but I soon got better.
Just when I thought the fun was over for the day, we went to one of my favourite places - the Museum of Childhood. I had a brilliant time running around...
...lots of fun playing with Aunt Amy...
...and being back in the sensory room made my day.

Day Five Hundred and Fifty-Three

Friday 28th February 2014 ~ Today was a good day. It started with my favourite breakfast - scrambled egg on toast, even though it was only Friday. Now I can say egg, ketchup, juice and tea... all the essentials for a growing Clara.
Then Mummy put on my boots and teddy coat and I went to nursery. I had a great day of drama, playing in the garden and messy play. They gave me my favourite lunch of spaghetti bolognese and sponge cake with icing too. Mmmmm!
When Mummy and me got home, we played for a bit and before my bath I watched Upsy Daisy on tv with my Upsy Daisy
And when Daddy got home, I did some dancing. I danced a lot better when Mummy was dancing too!
