Thursday 20th September 2018 - I'm enjoying making videos at the moment. This morning I asked Mummy to video me while I told her about school.. and did some sums

 Even though I'm enjoying school a little bit more than I was, I was really looking forward to seeing Juni and Robin. We went to their Grandma and Grandad's for tea

And decorated chocolate cupcakes that Mummy and Ira made!

Wednesday 19th September 2018 - I'm getting used to year one, even though it's not nearly as fun as reception. And there are bits of it I like, like play time and story time and ICT. But it's so good to be home with Mummy, Daddy and Ira

Sunday 16th September 2018 - Today we went on an exciting adventure into London today - lunch in pizza express and then the Everywhere Bear at the theatre in Angel, which was just brilliant

Saturday 15th September 2018 - Today I was in bed when Mummy got home because she had to spend the day sorting things out in her office. I was very happy because she had this lovely cuddly flamingo for me which was a late birthday present from Uncle Ed and Aunt Amy

Tuesday 11th September 2018 - Today it was Daddy's birthday. We made him cards and chose him some chocolate. And when Mummy came back from work, we sang happy birthday with a caterpillar cake, which Daddy said was his favourite

Monday 10th September 2018 - Today was my first day back at rainbows after the summer holiday

I took my rainbow's promise, which means I'm now officially a rainbow.

And I got some badges for my rainbow top too

Sunday 9th September 2018 - Today was picnic in the park in Highams Park and so many of my friends were there to climb trees and eat ice-cream with

Saturday 8th September 2018 - Today Mummy took me to my friend Ruby's Moana birthday party. She's a school friend I go to after school club with. It was lots of fun and Mummy and I stopped at Wood Street market on the way home to look for a card and birthday present for Daddy

Friday 7th September 2018 - Hooray it's Friday, which means it's nearly the weekend

This week has been tough. Year one isn't the same as reception. We don't really get to play and there's so much more work. I've cried a bit and told Mummy how difficult it has been. My new teacher Ms Gilmore says I'm doing well and that I'm good at working on my own

Thursday 6th September 2018 - Juni and Robin came for tea and we decorated gingerbread men for dessert

Wednesday 5th September 2018 - Today we found out that Mummy is going to have a baby boy in January. And I am going to have a new baby brother. I said I'd have preferred a baby sister but I wasn't too disappointed at all. Every day I speak to the baby through Mummy's belly and I say goodnight to him too. I can't wait to meet him

Tuesday 4th September 2018 - Today was my first day of year one. I asked Mummy to do my hair in plaits like Mildred Hubble from my Worst Witch books.

I had been feeling quite sad about going to school and being away from my Mummy and Daddy

But when I arrived I was very excited to see all of my friends and meet my new teacher

Day Two Thousand Two Hundred

 Monday 3rd September 2018 - This morning we got up and went on safari again first thing after breakfast 

And when we got back, we had a rhino encounter where we got to stroke and feed the rhinos 

We fed them bananas

And bits of apple too. There was a Mummy and a little baby rhino. Grandad was so happy

Then we went for another ride around the park in our little golf buggy before we had to give it back and head back home

What a brilliant adventure 

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-Nine

 Sunday 2nd September 2018 - Today we went back to the lovely Port Lympne safari park for Grandad's birthday treat - safari and a night's stay in the rhino lodge! 

Luckily it was a beautiful, sunny day and we began by exploring the gardens of the hotel and walked through the maze until we found... 

Grandma and Grandad!

Of course they wanted to go on safari straight away 

There were lots of animals outside in the sunshine

Including this grey rhino called Zambezi, who spent a lot of time walking along with the safari truck. It was almost as though he'd come to wish Grandad a happy birthday! 

We went to check into our rhino lodge and they gave us a little buggy to drive around in

We drove to the dinosaur wood where I nearly got eaten! 

It was a brilliant day and we got to go to bed in the old gatekeepers cottage which is next to the rhino enclosure

Monday 27th August 2018 - This morning we made our fairy gardens from the things we had collected during our fairy treasure hunt at the party

 I made a thank you note for Mummy to send to everyone

And then we went to IKEA, where I was the sparkliest girl there in all my new sparkly sequin birthDAY things

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Ninety-Two

Sunday 26th August 2018 - This morning Mummy decorated my 6th Birthday cake, ready for my birthday party. I wanted a rainbow fairy garden

Mummy made the flowers out of sugar paste and made my clip dollies into fairies 

My party was at the View in Chingford, next to Epping forest and all of my friends were invited

Mummy organised a fairy garden treasure hunt. Unfortunately it was raining hard but that didn't stop us. We just put on our wellies and our rain coats and head out to find the clues 

At each new clue, there was another part of our fairy garden to collect 

We went back inside to get dry where we decorated our fairy doors and played musical statues

Mummy and Daddy lit the candles on my cake 

And everyone sang Happy Birthday 

I blew out the candles 

And when the cake was cut.. it was a rainbow inside! 

After my friends had left, I opened my presents from Grandma Catherine. She bought me a lovely dress and the Milly Molly Mandy books

By the time I got home, I was exhausted and more than ready for a post-birthday rest with my new iPad
