Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Ninety

Friday 24th August 2018 - Today was my last day of being 5 years old. Lois and Luna came over for a play date. We had pizza and played games together and had lots of fun
And when Lois and Luna went home, we met Juni, Robin and Nancy in the pub for tea
When it was time for bed, Mummy was in the bath so I snuck in for a quick bath with Mummy before  going to sleep. It's my birthday tomorrow! :)

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-Nine

Thursday 23rd August 2018 - Today we went on an adventure to Hatfield House with Juni and Robin
We saw an open air performance of Peter Pan, which was brilliant. Captain Hook was our favourite - we cheered for him when everyone else was booing. And afterwards we went to find him to have our photo taken with him, even though he'd taken his costume off
We liked Wendy, Peter pan and Tinkerbell too. We drew them pictures

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-Five

Sunday 19th August 2018 - Today we stayed at the holiday house and played in the house and garden. Mummy made us a treasure hunt. And then we made one ourselves with pictures for Ira and James

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-Three

Friday 17th August 2018 - This morning Grandma and Grandad left. They were driving back to Lille and then heading home. We were sad to see them leave but excited that our friends Isabella, James, Livia and Ella were coming. We went back to Le Touquet beach, where we all went in the sea
It was Isabella's birthday and she was very happy to be with her friends playing on the beach
We explored the sand dunes together
Running up and down on the sand
We climbed on rocks, collected shells and ran together along the beach
We didn't head back to the holiday house until the sun was setting

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-Two

Thursday 16th August 2018 - We had a lazy morning playing in our holiday house. Here's me playing noughts and crosses with my Grandad
After lunch, Daddy, Mummy and Ira drove and I got the bus with Grandma and Grandad to a little town called Hesdin. There was a little river running through it...
...and we stopped by it to play Pooh sticks with Grandad

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty-One

Wednesday 15th August 2018 - Today we went back into Montreuil-sur-Mer
Where we went to explore the Citadel
We had a great time exploring the grounds...
...and all of the hidden rooms and tunnels
I found a little grasshopper who was happy to sit on my hand
Later in the day, we went to Le Touquet beach where the sun was shining and I ran straight into the water of the lagoon for a swim
And then Daddy took me across the beach to the sea, where the water was warmer and I enjoyed swimming and jumping over the waves

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Eighty

Tuesday 14th August 2018 - This morning we played in the garden and Grandad pushed us as high as the sky on the swings
Then we went out to Montreiul-Sur-Mer where we walked around the ramparts and went for lunch
In the afternoon, Grandma and Grandad went to the supermarket and we went to Berck beach where, even though it was cloudy and a bit cold, I went straight into the sea
Mummy says I've become a really water baby
The sun came out for a bit and we played on the beach before heading back to our holiday house for tea
