Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Fifty-Six

Saturday 21st July 2018 - Today it was Grandad's 70th Birthday and he was having a party on the beach. At beach hut 115!

Luckily the sun was shining and everyone was ready to enjoy the day

Levi, Ferdi, Ira and I didn't waste any time. We got into out swimming stuff and went for an explore while everyone got the food and drink ready for the party

Grandad was very happy

We collected jellyfish in a bucket. I didn't mind picking them up with my hands at all!

We played on the beach with Ed and Amy and my second cousin Tilly

Daddy made Grandad a big chocolate cake and Mummy spent a lot of last week decorating it to look like Grandad's allotment 

Ira and I waited patiently for everyone to sing Happy Birthday

We sang Happy Birthday and Grandad did a funny speech inviting people to his 80th birthday in a garden shed 

I helped hand out the cake to everybody there 

And then needed a bit of a rest on Grandad's deckchair

A bit later on, the tide came in so we decided it would be a good time to go for a swim 

We all went in

Grandad came in too and I swam on his back

We stayed and played until the sun started to go down

We had so much fun together

Day Two Thousand One Hundred and Fifty-Five

Friday 20th July 2018 - Today was my last day of reception at school. Mummy and I took in cards, a bottle of wine and some chocolates for my teachers

Look how much I've grown since my first day at school 

I had a great last day and was really excited about the start of the school holidays.

We went straight to Southend for our weekend of fun for Grandad's 70th birthday

Thursday 19th July 2018 - After school today we went to the Thorpe Hall fun day, where there were games and bouncy castles. Juni and Robin came too

I instead on going in the stocks before we went home. Ira and I took turns in throwing wet sponges at each other!

When we got home, I made cards for my teachers because tomorrow is my last ever day in reception.

I felt quite sad about it, especially as I'll have a brand new teacher called Miss Gilmore and I'll be in year one, which sounds a bit scary

Wednesday 18th July 2018 - Today my seventh tooth fell out.. I hope my new teeth start coming through soon!

Tuesday 17th July 2018 - Today it was Esme's 10th Birthday. We bought her a new pink sparkly collar, some dreamies and some delicious cat biscuits. We sang happy birthday to her too!

 This morning it was my first ever school sports day. There were lots of funny races, like this dressing up race...

...where we had to wear a funny hat

A relay race where I ran really fast...

And a potato and spoon race.. oops!

 Sunday 15th July 2018 - Today after my swimming lesson, Daddy took us to the pirate park 

 Where he took this gorgeous photo of me to send to Mummy 

Mummy's flight was delayed and I was missing her a lot so Daddy cheered us up with dinner at the pub while we were waiting

 Saturday 14th July 2018 - This morning Mummy still wasn't home so we made cards for her. Daddy said that Lois was coming to play so we made a card for her too 

Lois and Luna came to see us and we played while our Daddies watched the football

 Friday 13th July 2018 - Today Mummy got up really early and had to go away for work. So she wasn't there when we woke up, but she left us pictures decorated with sweets and our breakfast, which made me feel pleased 

I had an inset day at school and Ira had a preschool trip to the lake so Daddy took us up there and we fed the cygnets

Thursday 12th July 2018 - After school I wrote out my birthday party invitations so I can give them to my school friends before the end of term

Wednesday 11th July 2018 - After school today we went to Juni and Robin's house for a BBQ and to watch England play in the World Cup semi final against Croatia. Unfortunately England didn't win so everyone was a bit grumpy. Juni and I still had fun

Tuesday 10th July 2018 - After school, Grandma and Grandad took us up to Highams park for a picnic. We climbed trees and played in the playground 

 And had a really silly time with Grandad!

Monday 9th July 2018 - After school today, Mummy, Ira and me cycled up to Highams park for my last session of Rainbows before the summer holidays. We had a picnic tea before the session started and then I played games and skipped with my rainbow friends while Mummy took Ira to the park. Then we cycled straight home to bed

 Sunday 8th July 2018 - This afternoon Mummy took us to the Olympic park

 Where we played in the fountains in the sunshine

And made friends in the park with the giant fish, before going pizza express for dinner

 Saturday 7th July 2018 - Today we were going to Grandma Catherine's to celebrate her birthday. So I made her this gorgeous birthday card 

 All of our cousins were there and Grandad John put out the pool, where we spent most of the day playing

We had lunch in the garden, which consisted of a lot of cake and party rings! 

 And Grandma had a big chocolate birthday cake covered in fruit and lots of candles. We sang happy birthday and then got back to playing 

We played and played until we were all ready for bed
