Wednesday 17th May 2017 - It was another cloudy day so instead of sitting by the pool waiting for the sun to come out, we went to Ancient Olynthos in Polygyros, where we found a cherry tree with ripe cherries to eat
We walked up the hill and saw a wild tortoise and lots of birds. And then went to explore the ruins
Daddy said that people lived here over 2000 years ago
We picked and ate so many cherries that Mummy said we could count the stones with Tinker, Tailor, Soldier Sailor.. something she used to do with her Grandma. Not sure where fisherman came from!
Tuesday 16th May 2017 - Today started with a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We could choose whatever we wanted. I had porridge with Greek honey
It was cloudy today so we drove to Kallithea for a walk along the beach...
...and up to the site of the Temple of Ammon Zeus
Where we explored the ruins and collected pine cones
Monday 15th May 2017 - Today we got up really early and went on an aeroplane to Thessaloniki airport in Greece. We picked up our holiday hire car and Daddy drove us to our hotel - Sani Beach, on the coast in Halkidiki. We went straight to our holiday room and this was the view from the window. Wow!
We went for a walk and an explore before dinner. I love it here!
Monday 8th May 2017 - This morning Mummy and I left early and went to Selwyn school (where my friends Juni and Livia go to school) and handed out some leaflets about the proposed government cuts to schools. Mummy said I was a natural
The afternoon was less political and involved a lot more playing at the Owls soft play with Cheryl, Poppy and Riley
Sunday 7th May 2017 - Today was International Dawn Chorus Day. Mummy woke me up at 4am and we cycled down to the lake, where we met some friends and listened to the birds as they woke up
It was brilliant
Mummy and I drank hot tea by the lake until it got light and then we cycled home to get warm and snuggly on the sofa. We watched the BFG and drank hot chocolate and Mummy fell asleep
In the afternoon we went with Daddy to Moutfitchet Castle
It was a Motte and Bailey Castle, restored to its original glory.. with talking knights and animals roaming around
Mummy put me in here and said she was going to the pub!
Luckily she came back and let me out
We had lots of fun exploring the grounds and dressing Daddy up
We also fed the animals. When my animal feed was nearly finished, a goat ate the rest of the food and the paper bag too, which really made me laugh
Thursday 4th May 2017 - Today Mummy's friend Becky came to visit with her baby Louis. Ira and I were so excited that we brought all our blankets and teddies downstairs
And before he went home, we went to the park where we made a Clara sandwich on the swing
Monday 1st May 2017 - Today it was May bank holiday so instead of preschool, we met Grandma and Grandad at Gunpowder Mill for an exciting day of World War two activities. We saw lots of old weapons and people dressed up in costumes. There were tanks and guns a noisy battle re-enactment which I loved but Ira found far too noisy
We got to make rockets and slime and watch science experiments which made big explosions. It was a great day out. Thanks Grandad!
Sunday 30th April 2017 - This afternoon Ed and Amy came for a Sunday roast. Amy was so good at playing with me. We played with dollies, with my xylophone and we played super heroes too
After lunch, we went up to Highams Park and Daddy taught me how to ride a bike. Only, I didn't really need much teaching. I got on and could ride. Everyone was really impressed and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to go out on it again
