Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Three

Sunday 26th June 2016 ~ Today, was Cousin Lois' birthday and christening, so we all jumped in the car and headed off to church in our Sunday best.
We watched quietly as the priest performed the baptism, Lois was very brave, even when the priest poured water on her head. Afterwards, Lois posed for photos with her mummy and daddy, everyone seemed very pleased.
Of course, there was plenty of time for me to pose for photos too...
After the baptism, the party - I had a great time drinking with the boys...
And managed to keep my cool during an especially tense game of pass the parcel.
Although by the end of the day it was just possible that yesterday's excitement hadn't quite worked its way out of my system...

Day One Thousand Four Hundred and Two

Saturday 25th June 2016 - Today we went to the Suntrap education centre in High Beech and pitched a tent on the edge of Epping Forest. So many of my friends were there and we had a brilliant time running around in the field. We didn't mind a bit about the rain...
...We all got our waterproofs on and ventured into the woods
We walked through streams and across logs and built dens out of logs
Then we found our way back for a snack and a game of tag
Stanley's brother Max really made me laugh. And I met Nancy's big brother Eddie who I absolutely loved. I just wanted to do everything that Eddie did
There were lots of showers and thunderstorms and then an amazing rainbow over the woods
The Daddys lit a fire and cooked food on a BBQ. We played and waited for dinner...
...taking my brother for a ride in this trolley until the burgers and sausages were ready
After dinner we all put on a show. I was the princess and Eddie was the prince
And then it was time to toast marshmallows on sticks and drink hot chocolate
It was way past our bedtime but we still ran around the field and in the wood...
...and played until the sun went to bed
We had such an amazing day, despite the rain. And I was so excited about staying in a tent all night for the first time with my Mummy and Daddy and Ira
