Saturday 27th February 2016 ~ I had a really good morning with my brother.. playing in the playroom, hanging out on the sofa and watching Brave, my new favourite film...
...and then in the afternoon we went to Westfield to do some shopping and to meet Uncle Ed. We all went for dinner at the real Greek, which is one of our favourites. I had meatballs and ice-cream and Ira did too. That's why he looks so happy
Saturday 20th February 2016 ~ Today we went swimming, which I loved. I'm getting so confident in the water - kicking my legs and trying to swim without any help
I didn't love getting out!
It rained and rained all day so we went to a new Turkish restaurant next to the dinosaur golf. We could see the dinosaurs from the window... and the food was pretty good too
Thursday 18th February 2016 ~ I was such a good girl for Mummy yesterday that today she gave me a new Elsa clip dolly with her own castle. I was thrilled!
Tuesday 16th February 2016 ~ Today Grandma and Grandad turned up with lots of treasure from Nanny, including this pink Frozen hat. I loved it, but Mummy and Daddy weren't as keen!
We went to the owls for a play and a walk around the lake. The geese wanted some bread but we didn't have any. We'd had our lunch already
We went home and played with this amazing sparkling princess dressing up book that Grandad bought me
Sunday 14th February 2016 ~ This morning was exciting.. as it was Valentine's Day, it started with Mummy getting some beautiful red roses and Ira and I having a chocolate.. before we'd even had our breakfast! We gave Daddy the cards we'd made out of potato heart stamps and he loved them.
And then we drove to Rye, a small medieval port town, where we put old pennies in old Victorian arcade machines. The laughing sailor was a little scary...
...but I loved this one with the babies drinking milk
We went for lunch in a pub, which was full of dogs and posh people (who Mummy was rude about). I had sausage and chips and we played dominos.
After lunch, we drove to Pett level beach and hopped out of the car for a quick look. it was far too cold to go exploring (even though there are supposed to be dinosaur fossils and a sunken forest) so we got back in the car and drove back home to London.
Saturday 13th February 2016 ~ After a breakneck drive through the rain, we made it just in time to jump aboard the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Miniature Railway.
After watching Daddy struggle to load our enormous buggy into the tiny luggage carriage I sat down to consider the sodden English country-side and reflect on 90 years of rail history.
Unfortunately, not everyone was quite as high-minded in their considerations!
After taking in the delights of Dymchurch, we decided to return home, imagine my surprise when a splendid green steam engine pulled in, instead of that stinky old diesel.
Mummy said I looked like a little girl from the 1930s...
And even decided the whole scene was worth of a vintage filter - look at me, a vision from the past.
We stopped at New Romney for a drink and a trip to the train museum. I had a great time playing with the little trains...
Choo-choo, look at them go.
Then it was back on another steam engine for a ride all the way back to the car - amazing!
Friday 12th February 2016 ~ Today we drove to a place called Jury's gap on the South coast to stay in an old Coastguard's cottage by the sea...
It was between the sea and nothing but fields and windmills. There were lots of bunnies running around, which I called "the cuties." We could watch them from the living room window
We went for a walk along the beach before it got dark and collected stones and shells.
Then we went to the pub for dinner before heading back to bed in our little cottage. I could see the sea from my bedroom window
