Day One Hundred and Eighty-Seven

Wednesday 27th February 2013 ~ Today I went to see To the Wonder at the cinema. I was surprised that Terrence Malick had made a film so soon after Tree of Life and I had been looking forward to it all week. Like most of his films, it was beautifully shot - like a sequence of moving photographs and it was good to see Javier Bardem back on the big screen. Mummy said it was about God and love and things that happen between Mummies and Daddies and that she didn't understand why anyone would cast Ben Affleck as the male lead. For me, there was a too much silence, floaty scarves, shots of horses and dappled sunlight, which made me feel sleepy. 6/10.

Monday 25th February 2013 ~ Today is my half Birthday

To celebrate, I went out with some of my friends. Here's me with Kit and Henry (we were a lot happier off camera)

And when I got home, Daddy had bought me a little cake...

Mummy and Daddy wouldn't let me eat it all but they let me try a little bit of icing which was delicious

Saturday 23rd February 2013 ~ Aside from my usual Saturday chores of having my nappy changed, eating porridge, getting ready, swimming and traveling around on trains, I spent much of today rolling around having fun on beds. Here's me at home...

Friday 22nd February 2013 ~ Today I did some really good eating. This morning I ate porridge and banana. This afternoon I tried some parsnip and carrot for the first time. It was alright.

I've been so good at eating today that tonight in my bath, I tried eating my sponge...

...my cups...

 ...and my book too.

Wednesday 20th February 2013 ~ Today started with an extra long sleep. Usually I like to be up and about, but this morning was so cold and gloomy that bunny and me decided to stay in bed.

When I finally decided to get up Mummy read me a very strange story about a naughty ox and a frog that went pop. I didn't really understand what it was all about, but that might have been because I was busy playing with Esme - she's so soft!

Then Mummy put on some music and I had a lovely time dancing,

Tuesday 19th January 2013 ~ Today, I got to put on a nice new bib and try some grown-up food. Mummy gave me porridge for breakfast, which was yummy...

Then I had some sweet potato for lunch...

It was so delicious I ate it all up! I think I'm going to enjoy eating!

Monday 18th February 2013 ~ Today Save the Children launched their breastfeeding campaign and sent Mummy a copy of the group photograph. She thinks I'm half sitting up at the top left but you can't see me very well. Mummy says it's not because I'm not cute, just that I can't sit up and when I was lying down I cried a lot.
